The 5K starts promptly at 8:00 AM. It begins and ends outside Truist Park's 3rd Base Gate at 655 Battery Ave SE and routes through the surrounding neighborhood.

Check-in runs from 7:00 AM to 8:20 AM, so please arrive early. The race starts on time and you will not be able to join after it starts.

The course is USA Track & Field certified (#GA18016DJ), so your time can be used to qualify for the Peachtree Road Race. There are three water stations on the route, and the course is secured by the local police department. Every runner receives a race T-shirt.

Results will be posted at akfatl.org by Tuesday, November 17.

Please note: the MapMyRun interactive map shows this course at 3.22 miles. It has been measured to USATF guidelines and is 3.1 miles.

This is the second of two walk waves and it goes off at 11:45 AM. It is the same route as the 11:00 AM wave, so please choose whichever start time suits you.

Join us at 10:00 AM for a 15-minute Mindful Yoga session to rejuvenate your mind, body and soul.

Certified yoga teacher Salima Ali will lead deep breathing techniques, poses that stretch common tension areas such as shoulders and back, and a moment of gratitude.

The session is open to all levels, and a yoga mat is encouraged.

Join family, friends and neighbors in support of the work to end global poverty.

If you are not walking or running, please register for a General Admission pass and join us at the Georgia Power Pavilion at The Battery Atlanta for the afternoon. There will be live music, family activities, and awards for participants.

You do not need this pass if you have registered for the walk or the 5K. It is already included.

Bring your young runners for the Kids 100 Yard Dash at 9:00 AM.

Kids sprint a designated track, cheered on by family and friends, for a fun and supportive race-like experience.

The dash is open to all skill levels and runs in three co-ed age groups: 5 to 7, 8 to 10, and 11 to 13.

Places are limited, so please register only if you are sure your child can attend, and please arrive early to allow time for check-in.

Home Run Derby. Step up to the plate at 12:15 PM. Kids aged 14 and under can show off their best swings in a friendly competition, cheered on by family and friends. Bats and balls are provided and all skill levels are welcome. Places are limited, so please register in advance to reserve a spot.

The Children's Park. More than 30,000 square feet dedicated to a safe and fun experience for kids of all ages, with a rock-climbing tower, lawn games, and access to the batting cages.
