Event Description
The Aga Khan Foundation is a leading global development organization working to address the root causes of poverty. For more than 50 years, AKF has helped create strong community institutions that support sustainable, locally-driven initiatives to improve the quality of life for millions of people, irrespective of their place of origin, faith, or gender.
The Walk & Run has supported that work for over 25 years. Since 1995, more than 500,000 participants across major U.S. cities have raised over $63 million. Exhibits at the event showcase the Foundation's work on global challenges, and there is something to see for every age.
